About the Children’s Library at PPL: The Children’s Library is located at the Downtown Library on Monument Square. Our staff specialize in serving children from infancy through age 12 and their families/caregivers. We have cozy beanbags, reading nooks, stroller parking, and family restrooms. We offer programming for children year-round, from story time and summer reading to make-and-take craft kits. Everyone is welcome to view the Art Quilts Exhibit, but we kindly request you remember our space if primarily for children and their caregivers. We host Storytime on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10:30-11:00 AM in the same area where the quilts are hung. Please arrange your visit around these scheduled programs so that you can fully enjoy the quilts. All PPL programs and services are free and open to the public.
If you have questions, please contact the library’s Director of Youth Services or Art Quilts Maine.
