Here you’ll find our major events for Summer Reading 2024 for Teens. In addition to the events below, we will continue to have out regularly scheduled events like Button Club, and Video Games in the Teen Library.

Decorate and Stuff a Fish @ Peaks
9:30am - 10:30am
Location: Peaks Island Branch Audience: Teens, Teen Events, Kids & Families There will be a variety of paper fish for you to decorate with crayons and markers. Stuff them with newspaper and you can attach string, take them home or hang them in the library during Summer Reading.

Tiny Safari with Elise Smorczewski @ Burbank

Location: Burbank Branch Audience: Teens, Teen Events Naturalist Elise Smorczewski invites youth to observe, sketch and record little bits of nature in Deering Center's Baxter Woods. Join us to learn more about the flora and fauna right here in the neighborhood, and let your creativity run wild!
