Comics Plus

Comics Plus is a digital platform offering thousands of digital comics, graphic novels and manga to PPL card holders. You can access titles using a smartphone, tablet, or web browser.

Every Comics Plus title is available immediately on your computer, tablet or phone.

  • No hold lists, no late fees

How to use Comics Plus with the app:

  1. Visit either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Search for the Comics Plus app. The app is free.
  3. Download and install the Comics Plus app.
  4. You will be asked to Search for Library/School. Start typing “Portland Public Library”.
    • Select “Full Library” if you wish to see the complete collection.
    • Select “Children’s Library” for content that is of interest to children.
  5. You will be asked for your User Name or Library ID. Your Library ID is the number on the back of your library card. Please enter the entire number with no spaces.
  6. Your device will remember you each time you use the app. You will not need to login again unless you decide to log out of the app.

How to use Comics Plus with a web browser:

  1. Visit https://login.librarypass.com or click on the Comics Plus logo on the library’s website.
  2. You will be asked to Search for Library/School. Start typing “Portland Public Library”.
    • Select “Full Library” if you wish to see the complete collection.
    • Select “Children’s Library” for content that is of interest to children.
  3. You will be asked for your User Name or Library ID. Your Library ID is the number on the back of your library card. Please enter the entire number with no spaces.
  4. Now you can browse for comics, read them, or add them to your shelf to read later. Enjoy!
