Baby Storytime Downtown

Join us at the Downtown Library for our weekly storytime for babies! Every Wednesday at 10:30 AM we offer stories, rhymes, and songs for babies 0-24 months.

Baby Storytime is our series for babies 0-24 months and their caregivers. Reading, playing, talking, singing, and writing are the five practices that stimulate the growth of a child’s brain and make the connections that will become the foundation for reading. Baby Storytime at the Portland Public Library incorporates the elements of early literacy and shares songs, rhymes, and movement that caregivers can use with baby at home!
