Fish Prints @ Riverton

Wednesday | July 17, 2024
1:00pm - 3:00pm

Location: Riverton Branch
Audience: Kids & Families

Gyotaku (魚拓, from gyo “fish” + taku “stone impression”) is a form of nature printing that can be traced back to the mid-1880s, when Japanese fishermen used it to keep record of their catches! We will be using nature-inspired replicas, newsprint, and tempera paint to create unique, colorful works of art.
